Construction date: late XIX century. Architectural heritage, 2000. Owned by: Temporalities of the Catholic Church of Costa Rica, Diocese of Alajuela.
The hermitage was built with adobe building systems, obsolete techniques, being one of the few representative religious buildings of its type in the Central Valley. This building was done thanks to activities arranged by the community for financing the land and its construction.
